I have spent the last twenty five years as a strength and conditioning coach at the professional and collegiate levels. I have developed and implemented comprehensive sport specific strength and conditioning programs for male and female athletes participating in over twenty-four sports. I have had a great deal of success in preparing my teams and athletes for the physical and mental demands of competition. I have trained thousands of athletes and helped them reach their goals and maximize their performance. I am now using my experience and skills to help everyone from stay at home moms to weekend warriors achieve their fitness goals.

The purpose of this blog is to help real people navigate their way through a fitness world that has been based on myths and fairytales for too long. I will dismiss the nonsense by providing information that can be easily applied and implemented into a busy and hectic life. I will explore a range of topics from the quality of our food to training methods that actually work. I will challenge conventional wisdom when and where it is needed, nothing will be spared. I will share from my own coaching and personal experiences to help people set up or maintain a healthy lifestyle. I will at every opportunity provide quality information that can be used to make good long term decisions to enhance the quality of life. I am going to share topics that I may be currently researching or find interesting. I will not limit the direction I may go. I hope the information is useful and enlightening.
