Mushrooms & Sausage

Ingredients

  • 8 oz – Italian sausage links, — casing removed
  • 2 garlic cloves, — minced
  • 16 oz – sliced mushrooms
  • 1 can – (28oz.) plum tomatoes
  • 1 teaspoon – sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon – salt
  • PASTA
  • 1 pound – penne or other pasta

Serves 4.

Directions

  1. Brown sausage with garlic over medium-high heat.
  2. Increase heat to high and add mushrooms and cook until browned.
  3. Stir in tomatoes, sugar and salt.
  4. Simmer on low, uncovered 5 to 8 minutes.
